Campsites, holiday parks and marinas

A tag at every tap, a sensor on the hot pipe leaving the water heater, and every flush is in the logbook with time, name and result, ready to show the inspector.

Installed yourself in half an hour, without an installer. The prices are on the site.

Overview of a campsite with tags at the showers and taps, a sensor on the water heater and a gateway at reception.

The problem

The flushing gets done. The evidence is missing.

On paper there is a signature, no temperature and no time.

In the low season, when buildings are closed, the lines stay empty because nobody walks past.

At the inspection that is the first thing that stands out, and by then it is too late to show it after all.

On the left a paper sign-off sheet with empty and crossed-out lines, on the right the same logbook in the app with a temperature on each line.

How it works

Four steps: a tag at the tap, the phone against the tag and the tap open, the sensor on the pipe sees the temperature jump, the line appears in the logbook.1. A tag at the tap1:002. A tag at the tap

At every tap in the flushing round you stick a tag on the tile. One bag per building; at the first tap you tell the app which tap it is.

2

Phone against the tag

Your employee holds the phone against the tag and opens the hot tap. The timer on the screen runs for one minute (adjustable per site).

3

The sensor sees the hot water

The sensor on the outgoing pipe of the water heater, before the first branch, measures every 15 minutes and sees the hot water within that interval, usually sooner. All taps on the same installation within half an hour form one flushing round.

4

The line is in the logbook

Half an hour after the last tap the round closes: per tap the time, the name and the result 'Verified: jump' or 'Pipe at temperature'. Without hot water: 'Not verified' and an alert.

What you see

Three screens from the app

With made-up data, as it will look for you.

The logbook

Every flush with time, tap, temperature and result. Nothing can be changed afterwards; a correction is a new line.

Every tap is tagged when it is flushed; the sensor shows for each flushing round whether hot water came from the installation.

The course of the day for each sensor. The jump when flushing is the evidence that hot water came out of the installation.

Everything it does

What is in it now

  • Several buildings

Each building with its own water heater gets a sensor; the tags for each building come in their own labelled bag.

  • Walking route on the phone

The weekly round is a list per building on the phone; a tapped tap drops off the list.

  • Flushing with your own phone

Staff tap with their own phone and the flushing password of the site, without an account. Name and time are recorded.

  • Alerts

A missed flushing round or a temperature outside the norm (after 3 readings in a row) gives an alert in the app and an email to the manager.

  • Report with one click

PDF, Excel or CSV over a period of your choice, and a share link for the inspector that works for 24 hours.

  • Seasonal closure and reopening

Closed buildings drop out of the flushing round during the closed season. On reopening the app prepares an extra round past all hot taps.

What it saves

Work it out for your site

Only the writing down, checking and filing. What the flushing itself costs does not change.

42hours per year

1,165euro per year

Calculated with 52 weeks, because flushing continues in the low season.

And no searching at the inspection

The inspector asks for the logbook and you click one button. No binders, no loose notes, no lines that have to be filled in afterwards.

An inspector with a tablet at the counter opposite an employee with a pile of binders.

Who puts it up

You do, in half an hour

The sensor goes on the hot pipe leaving the water heater, before the first branch. You plug the gateway in at reception and stick the tags at the taps. Help by phone or video call on the installation day is included.

An open box with two sensors, a gateway, tags, double-sided tape and pipe insulation.

The laboratory still takes the samples

We record the flushing in between. The laboratory results, the risk assessment and the water safety plan go into the same file.

Three steps: the sample from the laboratory, the flush in the app, the report with a stamp.
